Health and social work personnel with upper secondary education, assistant occupational therapist education or equivalent.

Target group

People with an interest in guidance and

counselling, and who would like a deeper

professional and personal competence within

this field, who want to acquire the competence to

contribute to the build-up of a professional service

offer in hospitals and local care institutions.

 

Duration: 2- year part time

Module 2: Pedagogical methods and guidance

Module 3: Group processes and interaction

Module 4: Communication and advisory skills

Module 5: Giving advice and guidance to user/next of kin,pupil/apprentice and colleagues

Module 6: More advanced topics in guidance

 

Short description:

On completing the course the practitioner will have a theoretical understanding of the most important principles and methods in advice and guidance work. This means having the necessary insight and skills to carry out such work in practice. The programme also aims to develop skills in colleague guidance.
